Kaila Pehl
Kaila dove head first into concert photography during her Sophomore year at Syracuse University. She traveled on the weekends to New York City to photograph any show she could. After joining up with a colleague at Family Records and writing for her online music publication, Kaila decided to start her own which would come to be known as Crossroads. Two years later Kaila has photographed artists such as: Buddy Guy, Kid Rock, Gavin DeGraw, Train, Ryan Star, Hot Chelle Rae and many more. Following her passion of music and photography, Kaila has worked in the music industry at record labels, music publishing companies and management companies. She is now working along side a recording artist and building the Crossroads brand. She hopes to be a touring photographer and plans on making that dream come true as soon as possible. She didn't choose the music industry so much as the music industry chose her. What do you want to be when you grow up? Who says I have to grow up? First band crush? Honestly, John Stamos in whatever band he played in on Full House. What cartoon most resembles your life? Rocket Power, for sure.Check out Kaila's work at www.KailaLassey.com
Nicole Silver
Nicole is a wanna-be 1960s Rock n' Roll photographer, but can't seem to find a time machine. Her photography has appeared in many venues including InStyle Magazine, Elmore Magazine, rollingstone.com, usmagazine.com , thecheappop.com and greatist.com. Last November, her photo of Louis XIV lead singer/guitarist Jason Hill was displayed at the Milk Gallery in New York as part of the Autumn 2011 Milk Underground group exhibition of "the next generation of talent behind the lens." Based in New York City, she is currently working on various photo and video projects. Her photography can also be found on Rock Paper Photo. What do you want to be when you grow up? Linda McCartney. Hopefully, I'll continue to be photographer... And I wouldn't rule out actress if I got randomly discovered on the street somewhere. First band crush? Hanson (specifically Zac Hanson. He was the first boy I ever remember having a crush on, and the first in a long line of crushes on musicians!) What cartoon most resembles your life? The Rugrats.Check out Nicole's work at www.nicolefarasilver.com
Jen Buglio
Jennifer Buglio is a music lover. Growing up her Dad played the music of artists like Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Boston, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Tom Petty. When she's asked what kind of music she likes it's a tough question considering her iPod has songs ranging from Britney Spears to Kanye West to Mumford and Sons and back around to Deadmau 5. Her other passions include photography and filmmaking. She's participated in internships ranging from TV& Film Production to WBRU Concert Staff. As she grew up she's attended many concerts from large scale to a simple crowd of 30, each with their own appeal and style. Her favorite thing to do is find new music, and she says it's the best when she follows an artist from their Pure Volume page all the way to the cover of Rolling Stone. Her passion is music. Her thrill is finding new and upcoming artists, and her payoff is when those artists make it big. Her dream is to make films and music video because they're her two greatest loves. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to own a production company that produces films as well as music videos, and offices in LA and NYC. Basically I want to be my own boss and contribute to my two favorite mediums film and music. First band crush? Justin Timberlake, it was the 90's what can I say, plus once he traded in his ramen noddle hair style for sexy buzz cut how could I resist? What Cartoon most resembles your life? Family Guy without a doubt.
